A Whole New Blog

Hey guys!! I miss you all so much. I'm so excited for the holidays coming up. I just wanted to let you all know that I have finally started my own blog. But after the finals, I get to come home and see you all. It will be so awesome. I love you all so much. I'm grateful for our family.

Hey everybody! News from the Brian Johnson family! Richard arrives home tomorrow from Mexico! We are so excited! His mission report will be on November 9th at 12:50 at our new ward- 1355 West 1500 South in Woods Cross. We would love to see all of you who can come!

Our latest addition

I just wanted to put in a real quick note to let you all know that Jason and I have welcomed Aurora Vilate Johnson to our family.

She was born on October 1st at 5:10 pm. They induced me that after noon and I was in labor for about 4 hours before she was born.

Jason was able to be here for her birth and got to spend 10 great days with us.

We blessed her on Conference Sunday because Jason left the following Saturday. We had immediate family and some grandparents there since she was only 4 days old and we didn't want to risk her getting sick.

We will be sticking around for the next few weeks and are looking forward to getting to see Richard come home from his mission. We take off for Grenada on November 11th.

A Little Geneology, Anyone?

I found this interesting web page that had some information about Grandma's mother, Emily Jane Morgan. Click here for the link. It was really neat to read about what life was like for her. I loved seeing the picture of her that is posted on the website - she has a beautiful smile. It was humbling for me to read about how she and George drove all the way from Idaho to come to the Salt Lake Temple to be married. What faithful people! Wow!
Reading about some of my ancestors got me thinking. I wish I knew more about them. Then, I started thinking that I really don't know all that much about my family that is with me today. What if we used this blog to spotlight Johnson clan members? I would love some input about how you think we can best use this little corner of the world wide web. :) Please leave a comment and let's get this thing rolling!

Baby News!!

Great News! We got a sneak peek at a sweet little new one. Morgan and Kenny are welcoming...well the font is not pink! We are excited! They are looking for names. Feel free to leave a comment with your suggestions.

Way To Go Grandma

Whoo who! Grandma had a fun birthday party. Will someone that had their camera there, please post some pictures? Please leave comments by clicking on the word 'comments'.
